Description

This inaugural workshop of a new network for postgraduate research students working in the areas of slavery/antislavery will focus on the theme ‘Antislavery lessons and legacies’. Please find the final schedule below. The workshop will bring to light new research that ranges geographically and temporally, encourages interdisciplinary conversations, and establishes vital links between historical and contemporary antislavery efforts. Members of the network will form their own committee, and will formulate workshop themes and events going forward.

Friday 16 October
